You’ve probably spotted those big, beautiful, light-up numbers and letters at weddings, graduations, and milestone birthdays. They look amazing, but maybe you’ve wondered, “How do I even rent those? What’s involved? Where do I start?” Don’t worry—I’ve got you! Let’s break down everything you need to know about the marquee numbers we offer here at Sunny Day Party Art.

What Are Marquees?

Our marquees are 3-foot tall wooden numbers with bright, built-in bulbs. We paint them crisp white so they match any theme or color palette. On average, each number measures about 24 inches wide, but the size varies a little—our “1” is slim, while an “8” takes up more space.

A quick but important note: our marquees are not battery powered. To light them up, you’ll need a nearby outlet, and we’ll bring extension cords to make it easy.

What to Know Before You Book

Here are a few quick things to keep in mind so your setup goes smoothly:

• Power source required: Marquees plug into a standard outlet. We provide extension cords if you need them.
• Space needed: Each number takes about 2 feet of space (give or take depending on the number).
• Outdoor events: We can set them up outside, but not in rain, snow, or heavy winds.
• Safety first: Please supervise kids and pets around the marquees. They run on electricity and need careful handling. Climbing or sitting on them isn’t allowed.

Customizing

Sunny Day specializes in balloons, so balloons can always be added to your marquees at an additional cost! We love creating displays special and customized, and balloons can do just that!
